Not winning the buy box? Here’s what you can do. Maria, June 25, 2025June 25, 2025 Losing the buy box even if there is no competition normally happens especially if you’ve just increased the price. You see, Amazon doesn’t really like it when sellers increase the prices but it’s inevitable because of inflation and other factors. As per Amazon, they feature offers with an Add to Basket button when an offer meets their high quality standards for: Price, Delivery option, and Customer service “No featured offers available” means no offers currently meet all of these expectations. Even without a featured offer, your product is still available for purchase — the ADD TO CART button is just not visible and customers will have to click ‘See All Buying Options’ to shop available offers — if you don’t know yet, these are bad for conversions. So what do you when there is no featured offer available? Don’t put the price back to where it was before you lose the buy box, that’s counterproductive. Instead, put a sale price that is equivalent to your last price, and have it run for a week. Changes normally take effect in less than an hour. If the sale price takes effect but there is still no featured offer, try lowering the price further. Do this until a featured offer becomes available. Once the sale period is over, it’s highly likely that the buy box will remain even if the price goes back to normal. If not, try running the sale price again for another week. Here’s another tip: check the Pricing Health in Seller Central to see what price to set for INACTIVE OFFERS to win the buy box. Learnings
