Looking for an API Integration between Amazon Seller Central and MS Business Central? Maria, October 10, 2024June 2, 2025 If you’re in the process of transitioning from Vendor Central to Seller Central and you need an API integration between Amazon Seller Central and MS Business Central to automate your FBM order processing, then read on. Actually, whatever your reason is for looking for an API integration between Amazon Seller Central and MS Business Central, then you can also benefit from this article. As an Amazon account manager, there are certain tasks that I do from time to time that are outside the normal Amazon tasks. And one of those tasks is looking for an affordable API integration. Why do I need an API integration? Because one of the accounts I’m managing is transitioning from Vendor to Seller Central and one of the management’s requirements is to automate order processing using MS Business Central. So I searched Amazon Selling Partner Appstore as well as Microsoft AppSource. I’ve authorized 3 apps on Seller Central but had to disable all of them because they didn’t work as expected. What were the apps I came across? The first app I’ve considered was too expensive. They didn’t have any pricing on their website and I had to book a demo call to get any pricing. During the call, I found out that the app costs $19,000 annually! That was insane and I already knew that the management team wouldn’t go for it. The 2nd app was cheap–less than $20 per month–but the app didn’t work properly and when I tried contacting the support team, I didn’t get any response. The 3rd app, wasn’t responsive enough especially when I was asking about the specifics. The 4th app seemed promising but they had an IMPORTANT NOTE on their MS AppSource page about FBM restrictions so that was an immediate no. I also contacted a couple of developers who can develop the integration that we needed but their fee was somewhere between $7500-$15000, again too expensive! Finally, I came across the 5th app. They also didn’t have any pricing on their website so I was hesitant to start any communications but since I have no other options left, I contacted them. They responded asking for more requirements and specifics and we scheduled a demo call. The pricing surprised me a lot because this app only costs $70 per month with a 12-month contract. Also, the team was very accommodating and ready to help. After the call ended, I already knew that management will approve this API integration and they did. Another positive–they also guided us in registering for our Amazon Developer Profile so we can get access to SP-API for Direct-to-Consumer Shipping–which is obviously relevant to the order processing.
