More Listings, More (Digital) Shelf Space, More Sales! Maria, December 19, 2024June 2, 2025 Here’s a quick tip for anyone selling multiple variations of a product in a less competitive category: skip the parent-child listing. Why? Because listing each variation as its own standalone product means more digital shelf space for you—and more chances to grab a shopper’s attention. I’ve actually done this on of the accounts I’m managing. There’s a total of 40 SKUs in the account and all of these SKUs can be listed under one parent listing but I decided to list them all individually. And it turned out to be great because when a buyer is searching for the main keyword, majority of the SKUs show up on the first page of the search results. Think of it like this: Instead of all your options (colors, sizes, styles) competing under one parent listing, each variation gets its own spotlight. That’s like taking up five seats at the table instead of just one! More listings = more visibility = more sales opportunities. Plus, in less competitive categories, you don’t have to worry as much about being buried by competitors. Each variation stands strong, giving customers multiple ways to discover your brand. So, give your products their moment to shine. After all, why settle for one seat when you can own the whole table? Got questions? Drop a comment or send me an email. Milestones
