$200 Advertising Promotional Credits Maria, November 11, 2024June 2, 2025 From June until mid-September, I was advertising aggressively to promote my newly-launched products, 4 SKUs to be exact. I limit my spend to $1000 per month but the results were not as great as I want them to be. So I paused all campaigns mid-September and let organic ranking takeover. Suprisingly, all the advertising I did in the previous months helped with the organic ranking because the products were able to generate organic sales. To give you an idea–with advertising, I sold 80 units per month but profit margins took a hit because of high TACOS. And in October, without any advertising, I was able to sell 40 units. Almost 2 months have passed since I paused all campaigns and all of sudden, I received $200 advertising promotional credits from Amazon. Apparently, the advertising credits are considered a ‘Reactivation Promotion’ which meant, they want me to start advertising again on Amazon and the $200 credit serves as an incentive. To be honest, this advertising credit came at a perfect time because I just launched my 5th product and it will definitely help promote the new product. But I’m still undecided whether or not to continue with advertising once the promotional credits run out. By the way, as a new seller, you are automatically entitled to $50 advertising promotional credits. As for the $200 promotional credits, only Amazon can decide if you’re eligible and there is no way to influence this. Nevertheless, always be on the lookout for an email from Amazon Ads team or check your Amazon ads dashboard > Administration > Sponsored ads billing > Promotional credits tab.
